ACT Kitchens is a family-owned business with brothers Brendon, Jay, and Daniel leading an enthusiastic team of designers and fabricators. At ACT Kitchens we try to do everything in-house. Our stone workshop is fully equipped to accommodate any task, whether a standard 20mm benchtop or a 60mm Natural marble benchtop with under-mount sinks.
Our wide range of products and services allows us to offer the best price and fast, efficient service to our clients, which is why major Canberra builders choose us.
'No job is too small', and over the years we have developed good relationships with other trades which we can help advise you on. We are also more than willing to guide you through your project from start to completion...

3 - It's time to complete the design of your kitchen where we will:

Confirm your selections and seek approval / sign off
Once the design is approved and signed off, we will go to your home to measure up, then our trained team and automated machines will get working to create your new kitchen!

Our 'Classic' kitchen is the most affordable way to get a custom kitchen in your home or investment property. Our Classic kitchen showcases luxuries like Quantum Quartz stone benchtops, Formica (Laminex) doors and panels, soft close doors and drawers and quality fit and finish.

The Prime
The Prime has all the features from the Classic kitchen with extra high end touches like a 16mm shadowline below the benchtop, designer cabinetry such as the stepped overheads shown, a 'boxed' stone island with floating shelf and premium handles for that extra luxury feel.

Brendon Maloney
Renovation/Technical Expert
As one of the founders of ACT Kitchens, I have been working with some of Canberra's leading builders in creating custom kitchens for their clients for their new homes.
From winning awards as an apprentice to working for some of the biggest kitchen companies, I have developed a broad range of skills and knowledge in the industry. This makes me more than capable to accommodate my clients with any challenge I am given.
Jay Maloney
New homes
I have always had a passion for creating and building kitchens. I believe that kitchen is the most important aspect of a home. I know in my household the kitchen is where family come together to cook amazing food and talk about our day.
I started as a trainee in a small family-owned furniture shop in Canberra, where I was given the opportunity to use traditional furniture building techniques. This strengthened my passion for building and I decided that I wanted to take my newly acquired skill set and work for a kitchen company.
I started as an apprentice cabinet maker in 2001 and knew from that moment that this would be my profession.
After gaining my qualification as a cabinet maker, I became interested in another aspect of kitchens - stone bench tops, and decided to develop skills in the art of stone and natural stone benchtops. I took on a key role for a large stone company who provided services for residential and commercial building sites.
From the very beginning of my career I knew I wanted to own my own business so I could help people create their perfect home and bring their families together in a kitchen that we (the client and I) design together.

Designer
I have been working at ACT Kitchens for 6 years as a designer and been involved in the industry as cabinet maker for the past 11 years.
I am dedicated to achieving the best outcome for my clients in helping them create the dream kitchen they've always wanted whilst working within boundaries provided.
I will sit down with you and go through all the options, show you around our well appointed showroom and even provide samples that you can take home.
